This one is going to be a big update. A lot of conventions have released 2026 dates and have open applications. On the spreadsheet, anything highlighted in GREEN is new.
COMIC ANTHOLOGY OPEN SUBMISSIONS:
NEW! Apollo City Comics – This Comic Kills Fascists Looking for max 4 page comics in black and white. Accepting stories about political education, Queer issues, Immigration, Climate change, war, and more! Deadline Nov 1st.
AfroComicConĀ – Manifesto Anthology Drawing inspiration from Gil Scott-Heronās iconic poem āThe Revolution Will Not Be Televised,ā this anthology calls on comic book artists to submit art that illustrates what revolution means to them. Deadline July 15th.
TO Comix Press – The New Hotness Anthology An anthology for Tiefling characters. They are looking for unusual genres that feature a Tiefling star. Deadline July 20th.
Monstrous Books – Darkest Depths Vol 1 Horror Anthology They are seeking scripts and writers only. Deadline July 31st.
Mad Cave Studios – Talent Search 2025 They are seeking artists, illustrators, writers, and letterers. Deadline Aug 29th.
Inservice Comics – Canadian Creator Owned Comics Looking for black and white “one off” comics (minimum 24 pages), anthologies, and 100+ page black and white graphic novels by Canadian creators. Deadline Aug 31st.
Trans Representation Jam – Trans Representation Jam 25 They are seeking stories about the Trans experience. Deadline Aug 31st.
Partly Robot IndustriesĀ – Nerd Emergencies: And Other Misunderstandings The theme of the anthology is neurodivergence and they are looking to showcase work from neurodivergent creators. Deadline Aug 31st.
Funtime Comics – Funtime Comics & Art Zine Looking for artists for on going issues. Deadline Aug 31st.
Oh Joy Sex Toy – Creator Owned Comics Original creator owned stories 4-5 pages. Educational, autobiographical, pornographic, review a sex toy, etc. Please review their submission guidelines before you submit.
Bird’s Eye Comics – The Bebop Anthology Is an ongoing comic anthology.
Moom Comics – Open Call Completed Comics They are looking for comic stories of 60 pages or more featuring queer main characters or queer experiences.
Afterlight Comics – Accepting horror comics pitches They are looking for short 22 page stories and limited mini series or OGNs. Creator owned only.
Excavation Comics – Excavation Exhibition They are looking for original comics 5-10 pages in length.
