HAPPY NEW YEAR! Since I’ve taken a few weeks off for the holidays there are a lot of updates to go over. A couple of new anthology submissions have opened up and a ton of new conventions have applications open and/or closing soon.

NEW! Diskette Press – Comics and Zines Looking for comics and zines from queer creators. They have a rolling deadline, but get your submissions in soon.

Lifeline Comics – Bi Visibility Anthology Vol 3 Looking for comic stories featuring positive depictions of bisexuality and pansexuality. Deadline Jan 11th, 2026

King County Metro Transit – Moving Stories King County Metro is looking for 6 artists to create original short form graphic novels. Illustrating stories from the community. Deadline Jan 13th, 2026

Wiggle Bird Mailing Club – Submissions for January Issue They are looking for short comics and zines from Trans and Queer creators. Deadline Jan. 15th, 2026.

Iron Circus Comics – Lie Machine Anthology Looking for non-fiction comics about propaganda, bad faith arguments, and headline-twisting narratives. Deadline Feb 1st, 2026.

Wild Ramp Publishing – Wild Ramp Review of Books Zine Looking for comic zines about book reviews. Deadline March 31st, 2026

Mad Cave Studios – Pitch submissions They are looking for creator-owned original comics/graphic novels.

Oak Tree Comics – Open Submissions – Young Reader and Middle Aged Picture books or graphic novels.

Fantasy Zines – Vol 1 Astronomica Charity Zine An OC zine with a celestial theme.

The Rumpus – Ongoing Submissions Looking for unpublished comics.

Oh Joy Sex Toy – Creator Owned Comics Original creator owned stories 4-5 pages. Educational, autobiographical, pornographic, review a sex toy, etc. Please review their submission guidelines before you submit.

Bird’s Eye Comics – The Bebop Anthology Is an ongoing comic anthology.

Moom Comics – Open Call Completed Comics They are looking for comic stories of 60 pages or more featuring queer main characters or queer experiences.

Afterlight Comics – Accepting horror comics pitches They are looking for short 22 page stories and limited mini series or OGNs. Creator owned only.

Excavation Comics – Excavation Exhibition They are looking for original comics 5-10 pages in length.
