Welcome to Tea Goblin Cafe’s first newsletter! I provide a list of comic anthologies/publishers currently accepting submissions and comic conventions with open applications. I’m still working on adding more conventions to this list (there are a LOT) and will update in a few days with more. COMIC ANTHOLOGY OPEN SUBMISSIONS:

Bird’s Eye Comics – The Bebop Anthology Is an ongoing comic anthology.

Read Furiously – Disco Fries and Scenic Drives: Life in the Garden State An anthology about all things New Jersey. Deadline June 30th.

CBK Comics – CBA vol 69: SEX Anthology An anthology about sex. Queer, straight, emotional, horny, funny, serious. Deadline June 30th.

StudioComix Press (Canadian Creators only) – This Is Very Serious Anthology They are looking for original and thought-provoking stories. Deadline June 30th.

AfroComicCon – Manifesto Anthology Drawing inspiration from Gil Scott-Heron’s iconic poem “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised,” this anthology calls on comic book artists to submit art that illustrates what revolution means to them. Deadline July 15th.

Excavation Comics – Excavation Exhibition They are looking for original comics 5-10 pages in length.

Partly Robot Industries – Nerd Emergencies: And Other Misunderstandings The theme of the anthology is neurodivergence and they are looking to showcase work from neurodivergent creators. Deadline August 31st.
